Everything God does operates within the boundaries of times and seasons. His purposes are not random—they are precise, intentional, and prophetic. Because you and I are woven into His eternal plan, our lives and experiences are also governed by divine timing.

Given the current social and political climate in our nation, we must ask ourselves:
What time is it? What season are we in? Where do I fit into this season?
And most importantly—what is God saying?

These are not days to be spiritually passive. These are days to awaken our spiritual senses—to discern the voice of the Spirit clearly and act accordingly.

I believe we are in a:

  • season of divine separation—God is distinguishing those who are His.
  • A season of restoration, where what was lost is being recovered.
  • A season of judgment, where systems and structures are being shaken.
  • And a season of glory and power, where the majesty and might of our God will be openly revealed.

And because God cannot lie and His Word is forever settled, I believe He is speaking clearly to His children in this hour:

“Go to Goshen—and remain there.”

Goshen is more than a place; it is a spiritual position—a realm of divine preservation, favor, and distinction. To remain in Goshen is to remain in alignment, in obedience, and under covering.

The idea of “Goshen” represents a divine exemption, preservation, and favor in the midst of widespread turmoil. In the Bible, Goshen was the place where the Israelites lived—a land of covering and distinction, even as Egypt was being judged.

What is “Goshen” Symbolically?

In Exodus 8:22-23, God said:

“…I will set apart the land of Goshen, where my people live, so that no swarms of flies will be there… I will make a distinction between my people and your people.”]}"

This pattern continued during the plagues—darkness in Egypt, but light in Goshen (Exodus 10:23); death in Egypt, but life in Israel’s camp (Exodus 12).

Goshen symbolizes:
• Divine protection
• Supernatural provision
• Clear distinction and identity
• Peace in the midst of judgment

How Can Believers Experience “Goshen” Today?

1. By Staying in Covenant Relationship with God

Psalm 91:1 — “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Just like the Israelites remained in covenant, today’s Goshen begins with:
• Walking in alignment with God’s Word.
• Living under the authority of His Lordship.
• Living a consecrated, obedient life.

Covenant unlocks covering.

2. By Living with Spiritual Sensitivity and Obedience

Isaiah 30:21 — “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’”

In chaotic times, divine instructions become life-saving. Goshen-like experiences are unlocked by:
• Hearing God in the storm.
• Obeying His nudges and warnings.
• Being sensitive to seasons and divine timings.

Your spiritual antenna must be tuned to Heaven’s frequency.

By Practicing Kingdom Economy and Stewardship

Genesis 47:27 — “Now the Israelites settled in Egypt in the region of Goshen. They acquired property there and were fruitful and increased greatly in number.”

Despite famine in Egypt, the Israelites thrived:
• Tithing, sowing, and giving place you in God’s supernatural economy.
• Practicing wisdom and diligence invites favor.
• God still causes His people to flourish in famine (Psalm 37:19).

Your obedience determines your exemption.

By Taking Refuge in Community and Identity

Exodus 12:3 — The Israelites were to gather in homes and apply the blood of the lamb. It was a collective instruction.

Goshen wasn’t experienced in isolation:
• Believers must remain in community (church, family, faith circles).
• There’s power in corporate obedience, prayer, and agreement.
• Your spiritual identity must be firmly rooted.

Community multiplies preservation.

By Pleading the Blood of Jesus

Just as the blood on the doorposts exempted Israel from death (Exodus 12:13), today:
• The blood of Jesus marks us for exemption.
• It is your spiritual insurance in times of plague, pestilence, or peril.

The blood still speaks—over your health, home, children, and finances.

Final Reflection:

In today’s climate—whether it’s economic downturns, political upheaval, violence, or societal confusion—the believer can live in a spiritual Goshen. Not necessarily by physical location, but by positioning in Christ.

John 16:33 — “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
