“Every champion was once a contender that didn’t give up.”
As I conclude my blog on “CHAMPION” as an acronym, N stands for NEVER QUIT. If they give up, they won’t ever become the champion any longer, right?
Once you have decided to become the champion in your field, there will be no giving up. If you give up you will never become the champion you want to be.
Because you’re human, you’ll make mistakes or even fail on your journey towards the top. What distinguishes a champion from an ordinary person is while they take failure as final and throw in the towel, a champion turns failure into feedback, changes his strategy and take action again. They repeatedly take action and improve their strategies until they become champions.
David, our Biblical case study is exceptional. Failure is not in his vocabulary. All he saw and
courageously declared was victory:
“This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.”
I Samuel 17:46 NKJV
