2021 is gradually rolling to a close. However, there’s still ample time to emerge a champion this year.

Dwelling on the word CHAMPION as an acronym, I have since January been blogging on each letter of the word; C- for champion; H- for hard work; M- for motivation; P- prayerful preparation prevents poor performance; l- there’s no “I” in a team. . .

In this blog, I am dwelling one more time on the letter “I” with emphasis on IMAGINATION.

Imagination is the act of forming new ideas or images or concepts of external objects not present to the senses. It is the ability to create a vivid mental image of something when in reality the object or idea does not exist.

A champion must be highly imaginative or learn to be. A champion is one because he distinguishes himself from others by his extraordinary skills and abilities which uses effectively.

To be imaginative is to be creative. It is to recognize the power within and acknowledge the opposing power without. It is to be able to focus on the positive even when prevailing circumstances are negative. When the power of imagination is at play, you declare and confess what you have mentally created which is very vivid to you even when you’re surrounded by naysayers.

“There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.”

2 Corinthians 4:18 MSG

“Then the Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up into the sky and count the stars if you can. That’s how many descendants you will have!” And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.”

Genesis 15:5-6 NLT

“All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth.”

Hebrews 11:13 NLT

In 1 Samuel 17:45-51, David had a clear mental image of how he will kill Goliath and he confidently made an open declaration of his imagination. It happened exactly the way he presented it.

My question to you is: What are you “seeing”? What are your “confessions”? Your imagination must consistently align with your declarations for you to emerge a champion. Sometimes however, help is needed. You may be stuck, unable to get loose  from the fear or self doubt that has hooked you. That is where you need me. I trained to help people get you unstuck from all that is holding you back from attaining their full potential.
